With over a decade of experience, I help clients sharpen communication and bring ideas to life. I have a B.A. from Columbia University in history and German literature, and a J.D. from NYU. For six years, I worked as a lawyer between a federal appellate court and a public defender office. I’ve been freelancing in writing, editing, and podcasting since 2020.
I help students get past the anxiety and frustration that often surround articulating thoughts in writing. We’ll work on outlining, clarity, creativity, and editing. And we’ll craft unique, compelling narratives for undergrad or graduate admissions essays.
You wrote it. That’s the hard part.
Now let’s make it the best it can be.
Whatever the length of the work, and whatever the tone, I will maintain your voice, or help you develop it. Plus, I can take you through the whole process of independently publishing a book.
I can help you develop, produce, or edit a show that listeners will love. I hosted, edited, and produced my own podcast for years, and I’ve appeared as a guest on many others. I care about presenting information, ideas, and conversations so that they are easy to follow and remember. I pay a lot of attention to sound quality, and I’m good at making the best of any recording circumstances.
I’ve written hundreds of essays and newsletters (find many examples here). The subjects are often disability, race, politics, and Christianity in the US. I also write on a wide range of subjects for others’ newsletters, social media, ad copy, and more.
